Choosing the best path in Walton-on-Thames

Supporting a sustainable and thriving Elmbridge

Residents, shoppers and visitors to Walton-on-Thames can delight this week with the official opening of the new Ashley Park path. This path allows for mud-free access to the green space, play area, cricket club and car park in Ashley Park.

The path was developed in partnership with the Walton-on-Thames Town Alliance to improve the facilities and access to Ashley Park and to make the most of the green space in the heart of Walton-on-Thames.

The new path and play equipment were funded with £100,000 from Elmbridge Borough Council’s Community Infrastructure Levy;  a fund developers pay in to help build new local infrastructure and deliver improvements across Elmbridge towns and communities.
