Go straight to voting for your favourite

Every day is Independent’s Day this July in Elmbridge with our annual Love Elmbridge Awards, championing and promoting the fabulous local independent businesses contributing to a thriving Elmbridge.

The awards vote opens on 1 July to allow residents to back their favourite local independent. One lucky business in each high street or parade will be named best of the best for their town or village.

Who has the special brunch dish, coffee, treatment, gift or customer service that goes above and beyond in your area?

Residents can vote now until 31 July for their favourite independent via our website surveys.

Councillor Robin Stephens Portfolio Holder for Enterprise and Local Economy is delighted to be part of the Love Elmbridge awards:

‘Our independents are the lifeblood of our community. They are the coffee shops, deli’s, restaurants, salons and gift shops that make our high streets special. I’d encourage residents to vote now and let your favourite independent know just how much you value them and the great local service they provide.’

‘I’m happy to announce we’ll also be giving out a special high street hero award to recognise the incredible volunteers across our high street business groups who do so much to work with the council to ensure our town and village centres remain a great place to shop, live and play.’
