Let us have your views on council run car parks
Survey now live until 11 September
Parking can be a topic encouraging much debate in Elmbridge and around the country. We are inviting residents, visitors, and businesses to have their say on parking in council run car parks across the borough.
Whether you use our car parks as part of your commute, you use them for accessing local shops, bars and restaurants or whether you are a business owner in Elmbridge acting on behalf of your customers, we want to hear from you.
Councillor Robin Stephens, Portfolio Holder for Enterprise and Local Economy is encouraging residents and businesses to get involved in this survey:
“Parking is important in supporting the vitality of our high streets and parades, and as a result, it is a subject that generates strong opinions.
“We are reviewing our parking strategy to ensure it is aligned with the needs of the community now and in the future.
“We want to hear your opinions on council car parks, the tariff structure, how you prefer to pay, and the access for electric vehicle charging. Afterall, it is important that our customers can easily pay and have the flexibility to extend their parking time at their convenience.”
It couldn’t be easier to let us know your views, click the links below and fill out the survey. This information will be used to inform the review which will be taking place early Autumn. We will report on its findings later in the year.
The survey is live until Sunday 11 September 2022.
