What's on
The following programmes are currently running at the Xcel leisure complex:
- Long Covid Recovery Programme, designed to provide therapy and rehabilitation specifically for individuals who have endured COVID-19. The programme is expanding and welcoming anybody who has been affected by Long Covid.
- This Girl Can dance classes. Classes are run in partnership with Sport England every Thursday for women who have not exercised for a while or want to be more active in a non-intimidating, relaxing environment.
- Swimming courses for pre-schoolers have re-started at Xcel and Hurst Pool
- Rise and Explore are new gymnastics classes run in partnership with British Gymnastics for pre-school and school age children. They encourage children to build confidence and participation through exciting activities and skills.
- NLPQ (lifeguarding) course will run from 14 to 18 February.
The Elmbridge wellbeing walks and cycle rides winter programme is available online for January to March 2022. The cycle rides have now restarted with rides (from 9 to 18 miles) to a different destination every Monday.
